Headstone South: Community Perception Survey

Consultation Homepage

Introduction

Harrow Council and Sustrans are working together to explore ways in which Headstone South neighbourhood could be improved to better meet the needs of residents, businesses and school pupils, within the context of the Mayor of London’s Healthy Streets approach.

The Healthy Streets approach is the framework adopted in the Mayor’s Transport Strategy published in 2018, which puts people and health at the centre of decision making, helping everyone to walk, cycle and use public transport more and drive less. Recent traffic surveys in the Headstone South neighbourhood indicate the presence of large volumes of non-local traffic on the streets.

We want to hear how you feel about moving around your neighbourhood and the impact that the streets have on your quality of life.

Are local streets welcoming to all, regardless of age or ability?

What could be done to improve them?
