Harrow Street Spaces Programme

Harrow Street Space Schemes: part of our response to keep Harrow safe

The need to social distance has reduced the capacity on London's public transport network and has seen car journeys increase. We need to make it safe for people to travel around Harrow and to keep roads free for essential journeys.

To keep Harrow people safe and to support our local economy during the Covid-19 pandemic we need to need to make sure that journeys that would have been made on public transport and car can now be made on foot or bike. The measures we have put in place will help us to do this and will help to improve the borough's health and environment.

We want to hear from you about the measures introduced through our Street Spaces programme. This feedback will be considered alongside regular traffic surveys and other monitoring to be used in determining the future of the proposals. We are also keen to know if you think we should consider making any trial measures permanent.
